MY ALLSTATE HORROR STORY

I am not the insured but I work at the repair facility of the insured.
Story as follows: Monday afternoon 08.21.06 the insured drove through a flooded wash and vehicle took on water. I don't believe there to be any engine/transmission damage, but the interior was soaked. It is now Friday 08.25.06 and Allstate has yet to send a claims agent. The vehicle has been left soaking and water damage is causing electrical issues, not to mention the vehicle has a horrible mildew odor now. I believe if they had given us authorization to separate the electronic modules, wiring harnesses and carpets/trim the vehicle could have been easily repaired.
Due to lack of attention I believe now the vehicle will be a total loss. The insured has paid for her own rental vehicle, and will suffer a substantial loss due to current blue book value of the vehicle.
Being in the business over 10 years I've never experienced such a lack of regard for customer satisfaction/service.
Please if anyone has insurance with these people please cancel. The only way to fight large companies is with the lose of accounts and money.
"There is no incentive for insurance companies to do what is right, such as live up to the promises made in their policies. Tort reformers fueled by insurance money think big business and the insurance industry need to be protected against "runaway juries." It's the other way around. Big business and the insurance industry have always been able to take care of themselves. The little people need protection from them. This country was founded on the common law right of the little guy to get into court with his hired gun to fight the oppressor, be it big government or big business. Take that away and we have nothing left. Look around. It's being whittled away, bit by bit, caps on damages here, restrictions on jury trials there. It won't end until we recognize the enemy and join together to take a stand against them. It will take the little people to do this together".
